Stainless Steel Chain: 304 Grade and 316 Grade

Commonly used in the agriculture, construction, and automotive industries, proof coil chain is a general-purpose light-to-medium-duty chain made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Type 304 is a lower-cost alternative to Type 316 stainless (marine-grade steel). While 304 grade and 316 grade stainless steel chain is resistant to rust and oxidation, it should not be used in extreme conditions where chlorides like seawater are present. Remember to confirm that all components in your assembly are overhead-lifting rated, and have the same working load limit.
