Wire Rope Thimbles – Stainless and Galvanized

Wire rope thimbles are fittings used with wire rope to preserve the natural shape of the loop and protect the cable from pinching on the inside of the loop.

Recommended for more corrosive environments, stainless steel thimbles are used where greater protection is needed, while lighter-duty applications in which wire rope is being assembled into another fitting, such as a shackle or master link, are a better fit for galvanized thimbles.
