Speltor Socket

A spelter socket is intended to both splay and taper the strands of a cable. Spelter sockets are the only wire rope/strand connection that give you 100 percent of the strength of the rope itself.

The open spelter socket comes with a pin or bolt, and has a wide range of applications as a steel wire rope socket for general use in any situation and under various conditions. If the minimum breaking load of the wire is not higher than that of the closed spelter socket, a 100-percent breaking load of the socket-wire combination is guaranteed.

The closed spelter socket is a solid form and does not come with a pin or bolt.
